DOL Publishes List of Goods Produced by Child Labor

“This report responds to section 110(a) of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008,2 which states:  

Not later than January 15, 2010, the Secretary of Labor shall (1)

submit to the appropriate congressional committees a final report that (A) describes the implementation of section 105(b) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005; and (B) includes an initial list of goods described in paragraph (2)(C) of such section; and (2) make the list of goods described in paragraph (1)(B) available to the public.

This report describes how the Department of Labor (DOL), in consultation with other U.S. Government partners, has implemented the provisions of section 105(b) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005 (TVPRA).3 The initial list of goods (List) described in section 105(b), paragraph (2)(C) of the TVPRA is included in Part II of this report.”
