Runner’s Stories: Running From the Border?
The September 2010 issue of Runner’s World has a story “Liberty + Justice,” which tells the story of Miquel Aparicio and Carlos Borja, two cross-country coaches who after immigrating to the States, created a program out of thin air at one of the toughest high schools in Phoenix. They have lived out the American Dream. Or they did until their run in with ICE.
