NY City Bar Immigration & Nationality Committee Weighs in on Counsel, Detention

The New York City Bar Association Committee on Immigration & Nationality Law chaired by Professor Lenni Benson has recently sent letters to the Senate Judiciary Committee advocating for increased appointed counsel and reduced detention.  Professor Mark Noferi (Brooklyn) contributed to the NY City Bar projects.
