More Support for S. 744

“You can kind of feel that like the public is ready to do this.” So said Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and by “this,” the senator is referring to the passage of immigration reform.  Indeed, as the NY Times reported today (link here), Sen. Landrieu explained that she is a likely “yes” on S. 744.  (The link includes the Hoever-Coker Amendment). With her support, and the support of 60 other senators to avoid a filibuster, S. 744 would likely pass the Senate this week.
