Dream is Now Music Video: Keep Families Together

From the Dream is Now:

The Dream is Now Releases ‘Dream it Now,’ a Music Video Calling Congress to Pass Common Sense Immigration Reform to Keep Families Together.

The Dream is Now, The Office of Academy Award-Winning Filmmaker Davis Guggenheim, and singer-songwriter Megan Keely have come together to create ‘Dream it Now,’ a music video calling on Congress to pass common sense immigration reform to keep families together.

WHO: The Dream is Now is an effort of concerned citizens who believe America’s broken immigration system needs to be fixed, giving undocumented youth and their families the chance to earn their citizenship. Megan Keely is a singer-songwriter and immigration advocate who, shocked and concerned with the treatment of undocumented youth and their families, wrote “Dream it Now” to call on Congress to pass common sense immigration reform.

“Dream it Now” is supported by partners United We Dream, Alliance for Citizenship, Asian Americans Advancing Justice (Los Angeles), Asian Students Promoting Immigrant Rights through Education (Aspire), and Asian Students Promoting Immigrant Rights through Education Los Angeles (Aspire Los Angeles).

WHAT: “Dream it Now,” a music video celebrating families, is a collaboration by The Office of Academy Award-Winning Filmmaker Davis Guggenheim, The Dream is Now, and singer-songwriter Megan Keely. “Dream it Now” celebrates undocumented youth and their families, and their pride in the only country they’ve ever called home, the United States of America. “Dream it Now” reveals the heartbreaking disruption of broken immigration policies.

The objective of “Dream it Now” is to urge viewers to let their congressional representative know that they support common sense immigration reform by calling 1-888-787-9658, and visiting thedreamisnow.org to identify and attend their local congressional town hall. “Dream it Now” also calls on viewers to text “dreamitnow” to 877877 to join United We Dream to advocate for immigration reform.

WHEN: July 3rd, 2013.

WHERE: “Dream it Now” will be released online on thedreamisnow.org, YouTube and iTunes.
