DREAMers and Families Ask Rubio: Will You Deport Us?

Dreamers and Undocumented Families to Call Out Marco Rubio’s Flip-Flopping on Immigration during Important Announcement
 
WHAT: Protest at Senator Marco Rubio’s announcement
 
WHEN: Monday, April 13th – 5:00 p.m.
 
WHERE: In front of Freedom Tower – 600 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132
 
WHO: United Families, United We Dream, Homestead ERA, Dreamer’s Moms, South Florida AFL-CIO, and other members of the Florida Immigrant Coalition
 
WHY: Immigrant families are tired of Senator Marco Rubio’s flip-flopping on immigration. One day he leads Immigration Reform with a path to citizenship in the Senate, and the next he “regrets it”, votes in favor of defunding Deferred Action for DREAMers and stands against Obama’s Deferred Action for parents.
 
DREAMers, undocumented parents, Latino voters and other community members will gather in front of Freedom Tower where Senator Rubio is expected to make an announcement, to hold him accountable for his latest anti-immigrant stances.
 
If Marco Rubio decides to run for President, Floridians will not take his flip-flopping any longer and want to know, once and for all, if he’s a Supporter of immigrant families or a Deporter. They will expect him to answer the following questions:
 
– Will you end DACA and DAPA?
– Will you support a path to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants?
– Will you ask Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to withdraw from the lawsuit against Obama’s Executive Action?
