Breaking News: DC Circuit Sides with DHS v. Arpaio on DACA/DAPA

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals has agreed with the lower court that Sheriff Joe Arpaio lacks standing to challenge DACA and DAPA.  

The DC Circuit court is generally pretty influential, but they didn’t criticize the 5th Circuits standing discussion in Texas v. U.S. But this opinion has some good discussion of the need to defer to the administration on immigration enforcement decisions. The decision, Arpaio v. Obama, can be found here.
