GC2 Summit to Focus on Evangelical Church’s Response to Refugee Crisis
On January 20, 2016, the GC2 Summit – an evangelical Christian gathering sponsored by the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism, the Humanitarian Disaster Institute at Wheaton College, World Vision, and LifeWay Research — will hold a gathering at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL that will focus on “equipping Christians and churches to connect with and serve refugees and refugee communities both domestically and internationally.” Speakers will include Rich Stearns, president of World Vision; Stephan Bauman, president of World Relief; Bill Hybels, founder and senior pastor of Willowcreek Community Church; Ed Stetzer, president of Lifeway Research; and Jenny Yang, vice president of advocacy and policy for the Refugee and Immigration Program at World Relief.
