Immigration Lawyers Post Videos of 3-Yr Old Kids in Mock Court Hearings

The fallout from Immigration Judge Weil’s comments that he can teach 3-year olds how to defend themselves in immigration court without a lawyer continues, this time with immigration lawyers from across the country posting videos of their own young children in mock immigration court hearings.  A number of those videos have been collected and posted on Youtube.  In addition to being cute and hilarious, they also provide a sobering reminder of the appalling nature of the current legal status quo, in which children of any age in fact do not have a right to government-appointed counsel (even as the government is represented 100 hundred percent of the time by a trained attorney).
