ICE Leaves 50 Migrant Women, Children at Bus Stop During Hurricane Harvey

This just in: ICE apparently stranded 50 migrant women and children at a bus stop that had already cancelled service as Hurricane Harvey approached.  Non-profits, including churches, responded and sheltered them.  The women and children had reportedly passed their credible fear interviews and were en route to join sponsors in other parts of the country.  News reports have stated that the agency left them at the bus station — with no cell phones, money, and limited English ability — despite a call the day before from Rep. Lloyd Doggett requesting that ICE specifically not drop them off at bus stations without service.
