Law School Faculty Hiring & Breaking In to Clinical Teaching
After several years of very restricted law school faculty hiring, it seems that things have started to pick up. A number of law schools have recently announced that they are seeking clinical law teachers of varying levels of seniority, including those in the immigration field (e.g, Northwestern and University of Connecticut are seeking fellows in immigration; other schools appear to be looking to make full-time faculty hires). Some blog readers thinking about starting a career in clinical teaching may find my post from last year, “Breaking In To Immigration Clinical Teaching,” helpful.
