Boston Pastor Quotes Scripture During Jeff Sessions Speech; Is Boo’ed and Removed from Event
On October 29, Attorney General Jeff Sessions gave a speech at a Boston meeting of the Federalist Society on religious liberty, during which two pastors from Boston interrupted his remarks and sought to challenge him with biblical verses and scriptural arguments on his immigration-related policies. ““I was hungry and you did not feed me. I was a stranger and you did not welcome me. I was naked and you did not clothe me,” stated Pastor Will Green before calling on Sessions, as a “fellow Methodist,” to “remember that when you do not care for others you are wounding the body of Christ.” Green and another pastor (Darrel Hamilton), who sought to also make comments, were subsequently boo’ed and removed from the event by security.
