The Flores Exhibits: Voices from the Americas

We have posted earlier about the Flores Exhibit Project.

On March 20 at 10:00 a.m. there will be a special virtual presentation of The Flores Exhibits brought to you by the Theater Department of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and Waterwell, NYC.

This multidisciplinary bilingual presentation features the testimonies of children and adults who were held in Texas immigration detention centers along the US/Mexico border in June 2019.  They will explore the efforts that artists are making to humanize the conversation, how local organizations are impacting immigration policies and how they serve as a catalyst for change. 

Readings by LACHSA theatre students with creations from other art departments.
