Poll: 70 percent of Americans support a path to citizenship
I have always found public opinion polls difficult to decipher when it comes to policy choices.
A recent Gallup poll suggested dissatisfaction among those polled with current levels of immigration to the United States.
Rafael Bernal for The Hill discusses a new poll from NewsNation showing that 70% of Americans support a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. “The poll found that 70 percent of respondents support a pathway to citizenship, while 30 percent oppose it. Among women, support was slightly higher at 72 percent.”
