Civil Disobedience if DACA Ends
As you know, the Texas challenge to DACA is on a path to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court has already signaled that it will strike down at least the EAD part of DACA. Furthermore, the White House knows that it can terminate DACA following the APA based on a Supreme Court decision in June 2020.
We should do everything we can to help DACA recipients from individual casework to pushing for reform. However, if DACA is struck, I continue to believe that employers should consider engaging in civil disobedience and continue to keep DACA employees on their paid staff.
