A Kinder, Gentler Nation? Denmark wants to seize jewelry and cash from refugees

Rick Noack in the Washington Post reports on an out-of-the-ordinary refugee development in Denmark., which recently has taken a fairly harsh stance toward refugees. The government currently is considering a law that would allow authorities to confiscate jewelry from refugees entering the country. The proposal is almost certain to pass Parliament.
