CNN Freedom Project: Modern-Day Slavery

CNN is seeking to bring attention to the problem of modern-day slavery and shine a spotlight on the horrors of modern-day slavery, amplify the voices of the victims, highlight success stories and help unravel the complicated tangle of criminal enterprises trading in human life.  Today, the CNN Freedom Project:  Modern-Day Slavery reprints the testimony of a modern-day slavery victim (and immigrant from Mexico), Flor Molina, before the California’s leglislature last year about her experience of being enslaved in a garment factory in Los Angeles.
