Call for Papers 2010 SJSU Immigration Conference Immigration and Social Policy: The Changing Face of America

San José State University’s Silicon Valley Center for Global Innovation and Immigration (SVCGII) will host a conference, “Immigration and Social Policy: The Changing Face of America.” The conference will be held on October 22-23, 2010, at San José State University.
Abstract or Summary Submission Guidelines
The conference solicits abstracts for panels, workshops, artistic presentations and poster sessions on immigration-related topics, such as economic issues, education, health, culture, race relations, religion, arts and performance, immigration law, immigration reform, and immigration and social policy. Abstract submissions are welcome from scholars of various disciplines, community members and activists, business owners, artists and students. If you, as a practitioner, community member, or community activist, plan to have a session on Best Practices, please submit a summary of the workshop.
The deadline for a title and 200 words or less abstract/summary, and your biographical information, is Friday, April 30, 2010.
