Music Break: Los Jornaleros Del Norte

This new music video by Los Jornaleros Del Norte covers the classic immigrant anthem, “La Jaula De Oro (The Golden Cage)!”   Inspired by the famous song by Los Tigres Del Norte from 1986, Los Jornaleros del Norte aim to reflect the realities of being far from one’s homeland, unfulfilled promises of politicians, and imprisonment that are part of the immigrant experience — even in the apparent “golden cage.”
