Texas Governor moves ahead with floating border barriers on Rio Grande

New marine barrier installation on the Rio Grande begins today.

For months, the governors of Texas and Florida have made the headlines with immigration enforcement measures.  Now, Fox News reports that  Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced that Texas is installing its “marine barrier installation” to help stop illegal immigration across the U.S.-Mexico border.
