Sign of the Times — 4 face hate crime charges in beating of Mexican immigrant

CNN reports that four people were arrested and charged with hate crimes in New York after a Mexican immigrant was beaten with a baseball bat, a metal chain and wooden planks. The victim was heading home Monday morning after leaving a club in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Staten Island when he was jumped by four men, according to the New York City Police Department. Olmedo reported that the beating was brutal and savage and that he feared for his life. Video surveillance from a nearby store shows the men approaching Olmedo from behind, carrying baseball bats, two-by-four planks and a metal chain.

First, Shenendoah, PA, Long Island, and now NYC.  When will we justice?  Or at least immigration reform?
