Poizner Goes Rogue, I Mean Wilson, on Immigration

In two new television ads this weekend, Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner is subtly playing the race card as well as on anti-immigrant sympathies. The ads compare Meg Whitman’s position on immigration to that of our African American president and of the President of Mexico. This is reminiscent of Pete Wilson’s “They Keep Coming” ads in support of Proposition 187 in 1994.
