Will Arizona’s Tough Immigration Law Fuel Hispanic Turnout for Democrats?

Latinos across the United States are up in arms about the Arizona immigration law.  In 1994, California’s Proposition 187 led to a significant increase in naturalization rates as immigrants wanted to participate politically in response to anti-immigrant measures like Proposition 187.  In addition, Latinos fled the the backers of Propo 187, especially the Republican Party and California Governor Pete Wilson.  Will the Arizona have similar impacts?  For a Newsweek analysis of this question, click here.
