Arizona Law Gets Boxer’s Attention

We saw previously how the Phoenx “Los ” Suns protested Arizona’s immigration law.  Now, a Latino boxer is joing the fray. Up-and-coming propect, Jose Benavidez, a Phoenix, AZ native,and his father wore anti-SB 1070 shirts at the weigh-in (see above), and into the ring on Saturday night.  Watch out for Benavidez.  He knocked out his opponent in the first round on Saturday and has sparred with the current King of Boxing, Manny Pacquiao.
