Governor Brewer: You Lie! Headless bodies and other immigration tall tales in Arizona

Dana Milbank in the Washington Post reports on the tall tales told by Arizona Goivernor Jan Brewer in her attempt to justify SB 1070.  “The Arizona governor, seemingly determined to repel every last tourist dollar from her pariah state, has sounded a new alarm about border violence. `Our law enforcement agencies have found bodies in the desert either buried or just lying out there that have been beheaded,’ she announced on local television.”  Brewer also has charge “illegals” with responsibility for a crime wave when crime has gone down in the state in recent years.
