An Institute, “Beyond National Security: Immigrant Communities and Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights,” will be held at Northeastern University School of Law on October 14-15, 2010. It is sponsored by the Program on Human Rights & the Global Economy and the Ford Foundation. The institute will bring together leading human rights and immigrants’ rights advocates to discuss key issues facing immigrant communities in the U.S. and strategic responses to those challenges.
