Denying citizenship un-American

Law Professor Garrett Epps, who has written a law review article in the American University Law Review that will likely become an instant classic on the constitutional history of birthright citizenship, presents his thesis in condensed form in this Arizona Republic op-ed.  For anyone interested in the latest birthright citizenship fracas, I highly recommend Epp’s in-depth law review analysis of the history of the birthright citizenship clause of the 14th amendment.
