Immigrant of the Day: Nonito Donaire (Philippines)

 
A native of the Philippines, Nonito Donaire, Jr. is a professional boxer known as the Filipino Flash and a three-division world champion. Currently, Donaire is the WBC and WBO Bantamweight World Champion, which he won last night in a fight against Fernando Montiel.   Donaire knocked down Montiel with a devastating left hook and teh fight was stopped shorthly after that.

Donaire and his family live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
