An Irish View of U.S. Immigration Reform

Jim Dee of the Belfast Telegraph
offered an Irish perspective on U.S. immigration reform.  The occasion was President Obama’s much-publicized visit to Ireland, where he visited family and emphasized the importance of “diaspora communities.” Ireland, of course, has sent an immigrant or two to the United States and immigration remains a salient issue to many Irish-Americans today.
