Revitalizing Depressed American Cities through State Immigration Initiatives

 
Angelo Paparelli on Nation of Immigrators writes about how the Obama administration could grant employment authorization to foreigners who could help economically revitalize depressed American cities.  We can hope that Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, who will speak on immigration at a conference at Wayne State on July 18, will discuss the economic benefits at the state and local level of global migration. Snyder has opposed a copycat of Arizona’s S.B. 1070 in Michigan.
