A Little India in California? Go to Artesia in SoCal

“India’s largest city of Mumbai is more than 8,600 miles away, but its foods, sounds and vivid colors inhabit about six blocks in this slice of Los Angeles County. Commonly known as Little India, the cluster of businesses in Artesia along Pioneer Boulevard between 183rd and South streets has become a cultural home for many of Southern California’s Indian Americans, a group with increasing political and economic clout in the state and the nation.”
