THE DOMESTIC CRUSADERS Special Performances in NYC on 9/11

Dear Supporters and Friends –

I am happy to announce that my play, The Domestic Crusaders, will be back in New York City the for the 9-11-11 weekend headlining the Art of Justice: 9/11 Performance Project at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College. Performing on the 10th anniversary of 9-11 in New York is an honor for me and my cast – and sends a powerful message at a critical time in America. This play about a Muslim Pakistani American family, the winner of the 2011 OTTO Award for political theater, helps to bridge divides and spark dialogue about issues concerning identity, community, religion, politics, race, bigotry and national security.

Please join us on Saturday September 10 (4 pm) or Sunday or September 11 (5 pm). The theatrical performances will be enhanced by panel presentations and post-show discussions.
