News outlets have reported that small skirmishes broke out during dueling demonstrations between neo-Nazi members of the National Socialist Movement (NSM) and about six times as many counter-protesters in front of Pomona City Hall in Pomona, California yesterday. No arrests or injuries were reported. About 60 members of the group marched into the Civic Center about 2 p.m. for a planned rally against illegal immigration.

As previously had been reported, the neo-Nazi group has planned a march and rally outside a California town’s city hall to demand an end to undocumented immigrants coming into the country. As reported by Fox News Latino, “Pomona was selected for this event because it’s turned itself into a sanctuary city for all these illegal aliens who are flooding into this area,” in the words of a NSM member.

Pomona is a primarily Latino town with about 70 percent of its population identifying as Hispanic.
