Pro Bono Immigration Efforts of Gibson Dunn Lawyer Lauded

Cohen
The National Law Journal ran a nice story about Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher partner Joel Cohen, who collaborated on a civil rights case with Yale Law School professor Michael Wishnie and the Jerome Frank Legal Clinic.  The case ended in March 2011 with Danbury, Connecticut and U.S. government agreeing to pay $650,000 to eight day laborers.  The suit alleged that a sting operation was part of an unconstitutional campaign of harassment against the city’s Latino residents.
