The Lessons of Clinical Legal Education

UC Davis law student Nicholas Starkman writes about his work as a student in the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic on a tragic removal case that raised some moral dilemmas for him.  Nicholas fought the good fight and, through the experience, learned much about lawyering, ethics, and basic decency.  This is true even though his client was deported.
