Immigrant Is Pac-12 Player of the Year

In a vote of the 12 Conference coaches, University of California senior guard Jorge Gutierrez has been named the 2011-12 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.  A previous Immigrant of the Day, Gutierrez hails from Chihuahua, Mexico and is a Cal fan favorite.
