Global Lessons: The GPS Roadmap for Making Immigration Work
Offering immigration lessons for the U.S. from around the world, CNN’s Fareed Zakaria looks at how the immigration systems work – and don’t work – in Japan, Europe, Canada and the U.S. in the hour-long special “Global Lessons: The GPS Roadmap for Making Immigration Work” which first aired on CNN on June 10. Focusing on the possible ecoomic benefits of increased employment and business immigration, the special is worth watching. It does not get all the facts right — suggesting, for example, that almost all of the 11 million undocumented immigrants are from Mexico when only about 60 pecent do — but generally is well-done.
