Call for Papers: Fifth Annual University of California International Migration Conference:
This conference uses a comparative lens to study immigrant integration/ assimilation/ incorporation. Possible points of comparison are across place (at various scales from the continental to the national to the local); immigrant group; historical period; or type of integration (e.g. self-identification compared to residential assimilation). Comparisons of the U.S. and Europe are especially welcome.Deadline: If you would like to present, please send a paper title and abstract to dfitzgerald@ucsd.edu by August 1, 2013. Panels will be announced by September 1.
