ABA report addresses legal issues, challenges faced by Hispanics in the U.S.
The American Bar Association Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights and Responsibilities will officially release its report Latinos in the United States: Overcoming Legal Obstacles, Engaging in Civic Life on Aug. 11 during the ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco.The report, available here, provides recommendations on how the legal community can best serve the legal needs of Latinos in the United States. It documents a yearlong fact-gathering process at stakeholder meetings and at six regional hearings that included testimony from more than 120 witnesses.
