Will Obama Administration Act to Slow Removals?
There is lots of chatter out there that the Obama administration is considering administreative measures sthat will slow down the well-greased deportation machionery. Activists have been pressing the administration to halt all deportations. Rumors have it that, while the administration is unlikely to do that, it may do such things as exercise prosecutorial discretion to not seek to remove undocumented and other immigrants not convicted of serious crimes. Any bets on what the administration will do?
