Floyd “Money” Mayweather Denied Visa to Visit UK
The UK’s Daily Mail reports that professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, a recent victor in a surprisingly close fight with Argentina’s Marcos Maidana, has cancelled a tour of Britain. “The world’s No 1 pound-for-pound boxer is reported to have encountered a visa problem which prevents him boarding his flight to London.” Although it is unclear what the visa problem is, Mayweather has had criminal problems in the United States and served a recent jail sentence for assaulting a former girlfriend.
