Judge Posner Dumps on DHS, BIA, Immigration Bar, Etc.
As the ABA Journal reports, U.S. Circuit Judge Richard Posner in a dissent in an immigration case took potshots at his Seventh Circuit colleagues in the majority, the Department of Homeland Security, the immigration judge, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the immigration bar. Judge Posner long has been critical of immigration adjudication by the Executive Branch.
In a letter to Judge Posner, immigration attorney Dan Kowalski took the well-known judge to task for belittling the immigration bar.
