Milad and Mojgan were married in Brisbane, Australia after she (Milad) sought asylum in Australia from sexual abuse and torture in Iran. Now, this married couple is torn apart by immigration laws. Mojgan has been held in immigration detention for 8 months and was forced to move to a new one this weekend – her husband, Milad, didn’t even get to say goodbye. Her husband started a petition for her release; it already has 4,600+ signatures.
