Professor Jennifer Lee Koh Joins ImmigrationProf Blog
We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Lee Koh, Professor of Law and Director of the Immigration Clinic at Western State College of Law, is joining the blogging team at the Immigration Law Professors Blog. Her scholarship focuses on the immigration consequences of crime, procedural rights of noncitizens facing removal, and on legal pedagogy in clinical and non-clinical settings; and has appeared in the North Carolina Law Review, Florida Law Review, Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, and Clinical Law Review. The Western State College of Law Immigration Clinic, which Koh founded in 2011, allows upper level students enrolled in the Clinic to represent indigent noncitizens in a wide range of immigration matters including removal defense, U visas, VAWA self-petitions, asylum, bond hearings, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The Clinic also works collaboratively with immigrants’ rights organizations in the Southern California area.
