Responses to “Rockings”: When the Border Patrol Kills Mexican Teens
U.S. Border Patrol officers called them “rockings”: incidents in which large, heavy objects were tossed at them from Mexico, over the border fence. The rocks have injured officers and, in some cases, led them to respond with gunfire. In the last five years, three Mexican teens have been shot and killed by the Border Patrol.
