John Legend and Juanes Tour Eloy Immigration Detention Center

Earlier today, American singer John Legend and Colombian musician Juanes toured the Eloy Immigration Detention Center in Arizona. The two were not allowed to perform inside the facility, but they set up shop out and performed a gig.

Juanes is a “leading social activist among his Latin music peers” according to Entertainment Weekly. When he performed for the pope back in September, he was hoping his appearance would bolster support for immigration reform.
