Two U.S. Refugees Arrested on Terror Charges
Two men were arrested yesterday on terror charges. Both were Palestinians born in Iraq. Both came to the United States as refugees.
CNN reports that
Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan, 24, of Houston, was charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS.
Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab, 23, of Sacramento, California, was charged with making a false statement involving international terrorism.
Relatives of the two men have also been charged.
I have no doubt that these indictments will give fuel to the fire for those looking to exclude refugees and Muslims from the United States on national security grounds.
