Has Anything Changed With Arizona’s Immigration Law?

Weston Phippen for the Atlantic questions whether much has changed with the settlement of the final piece of litigation challenging Arizona’s S.B. 1070, which was the most well-known of the state immigration enforcement laws passed in recent years. As reported on the ImmigrationProf blog, the settlement includes an opinion from the Arizona Attorney General instructing police to ignore Section 2(B)’s “show your papers” provision of S.B. 1070.
