Jeff Sessions is the New Attorney General

Breaking news!  Senate voted Wednesday night to confirm Sen. Jeff Sessions as Attorney General of the United States.  No Republicans went against Sessions in the 52-47 vote. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) was the only Democrat to back Sessions.

As previously blogged on ImmigrationProf, Senator Session, who as Attorney General will oversee the immigration court system, leans heavily toward the enforcement side of the immigration spectrum.
