US, California Attorney Generals Disagree on Immigration Enforcement
As the Los Angeles Times reports, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions yesterday responded to California Attorney General Xavier Becerra‘s claim that a federal immigration crackdown is “reckless.” Sessions accused state officials of jeopardizing public safety with so-called sanctuary city policies that restrict cooperation with federal agents.
Sessions and Becerra appeared live but in separate interviews on the ABC-TV news show “This Week,” hosted by George Stephanopoulos.
